Two new courses in initial computer literacy

11 May 2009

On 11 May, 2009 at the NRCB began the second for this year three-week course in initial computer literacy for visually impaired people. It followed the standard curricula and 6 visually impaired people took part in it. A new element was the training of two teachers in initial computer literacy, one of whom was trained entirely for work with the JAWS Program for the needs of totally blind people, and the other one targeted work with partially sighted people. The course ended successfully and on 8 June began the third such course for this year with 8 visually impaired trainees.
